Idiot Police

I had the distinct joy of writing a letter of complaint to the Enfield police and the Enfield board of selectmen over the mistreatment I had from them on last Saturday November 29. I found out, to my surprise, that my license and registration was suspended for non payment of a ticket. Came to find out that I'd made a mistake on the online ticket form and got it all screwed up. If I'd had taken the notice in the mail seriously I'd not have gotten in trouble. Still the police officer in Canaan was respectful enough and gave me a ride to the Enfield border. The thing that made me mad was that the Enfield police officer said to me, and I quote, "you know we don't usually give people who've been arrested rides home, just keep that in mind." Excuse me, but I wasn't arrested...I wasn't in handcuffs..I wasn't in the town lock up. I kept my peace then because it wouldn't make things any better if I cracked wise, but that was inappropriate for him to say. I pay his salary so I'd like a little more respect than I received. I told that to the chief and the selectmen in the letter. I just hope I don't get in more trouble.
